More about Thistle Rice
Gondeure is a wild thistle that grows in the mountains of Gangwon-do, especially around Jeongseon and Pyeongchang. Cooked into the rice, the dried greens give it a soft, nutty taste. Add the seasoned soy sauce bit by bit; many restaurants also serve doenjang stew with it.
